Jim Jordan knows that he has Republican Support as House moves to vote for speaker

The House of Representative will vote on electing a new speaker on Tuesday as far-right congressman Jim Jordan ( Ohio ) look like to win the gavel. GOP Kevin McCarthy was ousted last month from the speakership.

It is two weeks now since The House of Representatives being without a speaker and the situation is not moving in the right direction.

Earlier this week Jim Jordan won the nomination for speakership on friday, Louisiana Steve Scalise was out speakership race as hard right lawmakers were against him.

In a vote of 124 to 81, Jim Jordan defeated another Republican Austin Scott from (Georgia state ). He was selected for the nomination, Jim Jordan’s support level fell and he required to atleast 217 votes that he will need on to win the speakership on Tuesday.

Jim Jordan Told CNN that things are gaining some momentum and we are really close.

Jordan is trying hard to become the speaker of the house and take the chamber and make it functional as soon as possible.
