Catastrophic earthquake caused damage in Morroco killing more than 1,000 people

  More than 1000 people were killed and hundreds of people injured after a catastrophic earthquake strikes close to Morocco’s historic City of Marrakesh. The epicentre is located about 72 kilometres (44.7 miles) southwest of Marrakech, a city of almost 800000 people and a hub of tourist destinations.

A Powerful Jolt of an earthquake with 6.8 magnitudes on Friday night has shattered houses and caused major damage to the city. Some of the moments were captured via video during powerful earthquake jolts where people were panicked, shouting and moving out of streets and houses to find some kind of safety.

Amidst the Powerful earthquake Jolts, Travellers, and Locals who stayed at the hotels saw terrible situations where children were screaming out, People were panicked and moved out of hotel rooms.

rescue operations are going on as rescue teams find people who are stuck under houses, almost 700 people are still in critical conditions.

Rescue teams have a hard time finding and moving them into hospitals for treatment.

Foreign Governments call for aid for victims and people who still need help during this natural calamity as the situation still not under control, People are still dying and aid groups are moving to Morroco to help the victims.
