Microsoft to buy Activision Blizzard, the maker of the popular video game Call of Duty in a $69b deal as it is regulated by the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).
The Competition and Markets Authority previously blocked the deal in April raising concerns against Microsoft Monopolising the gaming market.
Earlier last month, UK Watchdog had agreed to revise the deal selling the cloud-led gaming Rights along with Ubisoft, a French gaming maker rival addressed its concerns.
UK Top Regulator CMA chief executive Sarah Cardell said Microsoft could not have complete control over cloud gaming, which allows users to stream video games on remote servers onto their devices.
The evolving nature of the regulatory process behind the deal has surprised some industry experts, as CMA was trying to block the deal in the month of April. The deal was restructured lately.
The regulator said Microsoft should make a concession on cloud gaming that would allow Ubisoft to offer multigame subscription services.
