The UK Government has introduced new immigration rules to curb the net migration as it is surging. Home Secretary James Clevery announced his plan to curb immigration. 

Some of the key changes that he made was to increase the minimum wage of overseas skilled workers from £26,200 to £38,700. The Home Secretary said that almost 300000 immigrants came to the United Kingdom last year and this would not happen again in the future.
